FORMAL WEAR AND FRAGRANCE
BRITISH TAILORS IN HOLLYWOOD
Eric Buterbaugh, celebrity florist and tailoring fan, hosted a very British party at his West Hollywood Perfumery ahead of the Royal Wedding of Harry and Meghan last weekend. The Clements and Church Showcase brought together Brits and Americans, fitting as a pre-wedding event in Meghan Markles' hometown.
The fairy-lit courtyard was strewn with formally dressed tailors busts, as if wedding guests in a British garden, whilst the gallery displayed a dressed down collection of jeans, sneakers and unstructured jackets amongst the White Flowers exhibition of Katinka Matson.
Briitsh Tailors Ian Roper and Aaron John talked guests through the Custom Made process, showing the attention to detail with linings, buttons and personalisation. VIP guests included 'Call my by my name' actor Armie Harmer and ITV's entertainment correspondent Ross King.
As a nod to the forthcoming nuptials guests were gifted hand tied posys of white roses and silk floral pocket squares. We ate: Mini fish and chips, baby beef wellington and Eton Mess, We drank: G&Ts, Pimms and Peroni, whilst the DJ spun some classic British tunes.
