The requirements for a summer wedding in Tuscany, or winter wedding in a Scottish castle are completely different. And a morning, afternoon, or evening ceremony may dictate your colour palate.
Fabric composition
A wool base wedding suit fabric is ideal for comfort, breathability and crease resistance. You may opt for cashmere or alpaca in winter. For the summer months, consider a lightweight linen blend suit.
Patterns
With wedding outfits opt for timelessness, so we suggest less-is-more when it comes to pattern. A subtle check or textured plain suit in a tasteful shade is ideal.

Made-to-Measure Wedding Suits | The Process
A made-to-measure wedding suit delivers a precise, considered fit using a proven base pattern adapted to your individual measurements. It is the route most of our wedding clients choose, and the timeline that works for the majority of weddings.
Your made-to-measure wedding suit begins with an initial consultation, where we discuss the venue, season, dress code and any inspiration you have brought along. From there, our expert tailors will guide you through the selection of premium fabrics, lining, lapel style, buttons and finishing details.
The base pattern is adapted to your measurements and a first fitting follows within four to six weeks. A second fitting refines the cut, and a final fitting before the wedding day confirms every detail is exactly as it should be.
Made-to-measure wedding suits are available in our full range of fabrics, including British and Italian mill cloths suitable for spring, summer, autumn and winter weddings. From a traditional morning suit to a contemporary three-piece, every silhouette can be tailored to suit the day.
