On 27 August 2020 amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, Dwight and Rachel were married at an intimate Ceremony at St Aldates and the Perch at 1 pm. After the wedding, the couple and enjoyed hosting their special guests in their garden for speeches, cake and dancing in the evening.
Adapting aspects of their wedding made for a very special affair, Dwight said:
'Leading up to our big day Rachel and I had so much chaos to deal with, so many plans were kept uncertain in keeping with government guidelines. However, the day was beautiful and we felt such peace and joy! The ceremony meant so much to us in our home church. We both felt very special when we were walking through Oxford city centre and everyone took time to clap and Congratulate us!!! '
Dwight chose a silk and linen silver grey chalk stripe suit. The waistcoat was double breasted and added a sense of occasion to his look when he removed his jacket for the speeches and dancing.
The pink silk tie was perfectly coordinated with the lining of his waistcoat.
Head tailor Ian Roper said: 'we wanted to create Dwight a formal look that he felt relaxed in and suited the intimate and romantic nature of the day.'
